Construction Project Manager – Marine Projects

About the role

The Construction Project Manager – Marine leads the planning, execution and delivery of marine infrastructure projects for Nass Contracting in Bahrain. You will oversee all phases from design through commissioning, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and budget targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, resource plans and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Coordinate marine works such as quay walls, jetties, breakwaters, dredging, reclamation, marine piling and offshore civil works.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams including engineers, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations, HSE standards and the company’s Quality Management System.
• Administer contracts, evaluate variations, handle claims and support commercial negotiations.
• Identify value‑engineering opportunities and drive continuous process improvement.
• Lead stakeholder communication with clients, consultants, regulatory authorities and internal parties.
• Oversee project commissioning, handover documentation and successful close‑out.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• 10–15 years of construction project management experience, including at least 5 years on marine infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record delivering ports, harbors, dredging, reclamation or offshore civil works.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience with contract administration and cost control.
