Content Editor – Remote (Bahrain)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Content Editor to join our remote team. In this role you will ensure that all written material meets our high editorial standards, aligns with brand voice, and engages our audience across digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Edit and proofread articles, blogs, website copy, newsletters, and marketing assets.
• Maintain consistency with brand guidelines, tone, and style.
• Fact‑check information and verify sources as needed.
• Collaborate with writers, marketers, designers, and subject‑matter experts to improve structure and readability.
• Manage editorial workflows, publishing deadlines, and the editorial calendar.
• Assist in developing and updating editorial style guides.
• Optimize content for SEO and digital channels where applicable.
• Review content performance metrics and suggest improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Media Studies, Marketing or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in editing, proofreading, or content creation.
• Exceptional command of written English, grammar, and punctuation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Content Management Systems (CMS) and collaborative editing tools.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles.
