About the role

animalia by yara is a modern dermatology and cosmetology clinic in the Capital Governorate, Bahrain, offering evidence-based skin care with personalized treatment plans for medical and cosmetic concerns. It is hiring a full-time, on-site Dermatologist who will carry out clinical assessments, diagnose and treat skin conditions, and advise on treatment plans.

Key responsibilities

• Perform dermatologic and cosmetic procedures and monitor patient progress
• Counsel patients on preventive skin care
• Document clinical encounters accurately
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care
• Stay up to date with advances in medical and cosmetic dermatology to improve clinical services

Required profile

• Strong foundation in medicine and dermatology, able to diagnose and manage diverse skin conditions
• Experience in cosmetic dermatology and cosmetology, including non-invasive and minimally invasive aesthetic procedures
• Expertise in assessing and treating acne and related disorders with evidence-based protocols
• Recognized medical degree and board certification or equivalent in Dermatology, with eligibility for licensure in Bahrain
• Commitment to patient-centered care, clear communication, cultural sensitivity and confidentiality
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and keep accurate medical records
• Ongoing professional development, research interest or continuing medical education is an advantage
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an asset
