Design Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and creative Design Manager to lead our design function, oversee creative projects and ensure high‑quality outcomes that align with brand standards and business goals. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership, project management and communication abilities with a proven track record of managing design teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the design team, ensuring all creative work meets company standards and objectives.
• Manage the end‑to‑end design process from concept development through final delivery.
• Develop and maintain visual directions, brand guidelines and creative standards.
• Allocate projects, manage workloads and resources effectively.
• Plan and control design project timelines, budgets and deliverables.
• Review and approve design work for quality, consistency and brand alignment.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, retail, operations and senior management to translate business needs into creative solutions.
• Create materials for branding, campaigns, digital platforms, print, packaging, signage and promotions.
• Manage relationships with external agencies, printers, photographers and other creative partners.
• Monitor design trends, competitor activity and industry developments to identify new opportunities.
• Maintain an organized library of design assets, templates and guidelines.
• Identify and implement improvements to design processes, workflows and efficiency.
• Provide coaching, feedback and professional development for team members.
• Prepare and review design, project, budget and performance reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Design Manager, Senior Designer, Creative Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high‑quality creative and design work.
• Excellent leadership, communication and project management skills.
• Ability to translate business and marketing objectives into effective visual concepts.
