Director of Sales & Marketing

About the role

We are seeking a versatile and dynamic professional to lead the pre‑opening commercial strategy for Kempinski Harbour Heights Bahrain. The Director of Sales & Marketing will shape the hotel’s launch, establish brand positioning and drive revenue across rooms and F&B.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and execute the integrated Pre‑Opening Sales & Marketing Business Plan, budget and launch timeline in line with Kempinski standards.
• Conduct market feasibility studies, competitor analysis and develop positioning strategies for Bahrain’s luxury hospitality market.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management on rate architecture, yield strategies and inventory distribution.
• Lead grand‑opening activation events, PR narratives and global press launches.
• Target and build pipelines across GCC Luxury Leisure, Corporate/Government, Travel Trade and MICE segments.
• Oversee luxury marketing campaigns across digital performance, CRM, social media and paid media channels.
• Recruit, mentor and manage pre‑opening Sales, Marketing, Events and PR teams, establishing SOPs and KPIs.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in Luxury Hospitality Sales & Marketing, with 2–3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Deep knowledge of the regional luxury market and an established network of travel agents, corporate buyers and event planners.
• Strong commercial acumen in revenue management, budgeting, forecasting and data‑driven marketing.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets and managing large‑scale product launches.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a significant advantage.
