Electrical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to lead the day‑to‑day operation and maintenance of our electrical systems and assets. The role ensures safe, reliable and efficient electrical operations while supporting Enova’s business objectives and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operation and maintenance of electrical systems and assets.
• Perform quality checks to ensure systems work properly and safely.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults.
• Carry out planned preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate engineering projects and installations.
• Provide technical direction, on‑the‑job training and supervision to team leaders, supervisors and technicians.
• Ensure interdisciplinary coordination and effective communication on projects.
• Analyze reports, maps, drawings, tests and other data to plan and maintain installations.
• Conduct site visits to collect or deliver services.
• Operate computer‑assisted engineering and design software.
• Inspect completed installations for compliance with specifications, codes and safety standards.
• Provide technical assistance on low/medium voltage distribution equipment and motors/generators.
• Issue repair reports and document historical maintenance data.
• Identify engineered solutions to recurring electrical issues.
• Lead failure analysis and vulnerability studies.
• Execute predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.
• Prepare reports, departmental statements and trend analyses.
• Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, publications and professional networks.

Required profile

• Broad knowledge of engineering applied to plant and building operations and maintenance.
• Ability to work independently with guidance on complex problems.
• Strong communication and coordination skills across disciplines.
• Experience providing technical direction and training to technical teams.
• Proficiency in analyzing technical data, drawings and reports.
