Electrician for Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Electrician to perform diagnostics, repairs, maintenance and installations on vehicles, heavy equipment, machinery and workshop electrical systems, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in light and heavy vehicles, construction equipment and machinery.
• Inspect, maintain and repair wiring, lighting circuits, batteries, alternators, starters, sensors and control systems.
• Install and replace electrical components and accessories as required.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics and technical manuals.
• Use electrical testing instruments and diagnostic tools to identify faults and verify repairs.
• Assist in maintaining workshop electrical installations and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs and inspections.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma or ITI Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Auto Electrical or related trade.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrician or Auto Electrician.
• Experience with heavy equipment, commercial vehicles or construction machinery is preferred.
• GCC experience is an advantage.
