Planner

About the role

Planners are responsible for estimating project timescales and ensuring that deadlines are met. They collaborate closely with Setting‑Out, Manufacturing, Procurement and Logistics to keep projects on schedule and guarantee material availability.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing detailed timelines and schedules for joinery and furniture manufacturing projects, identifying critical path activities and potential bottlenecks.
• Act as a key interface between Setting‑Out, Procurement, Production, Logistics, Project Management and external clients, facilitating clear communication and alignment.
• Support material and resource management by coordinating with Material Engineers and Procurement, tracking orders and escalating delivery issues.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, monitor production progress and help resolve coordination challenges.
• Contribute to process improvements by providing operational support and proposing procedural innovations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or Interior Design.
• 3‑5 years of experience in project planning, scheduling and operations within manufacturing or construction/fit‑out.
• Experience with Extension of Time techniques, baseline schedules, EVM and regular reporting.
