Energy Efficiency Trainer – Bahrain

About the role

Green Innova seeks an experienced Energy Efficiency Trainer to design and deliver high‑impact training programmes on energy management, sustainability and conservation. The role will build technical capacity for clients across industry sectors and support the company’s consulting projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver training modules covering energy auditing, renewable integration, HVAC, lighting and industrial energy use.
• Create learning materials, manuals and case studies with real‑world examples.
• Conduct classroom and online workshops for technicians, engineers, managers and internal staff.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise to energy‑audit and sustainability projects as needed.
• Develop assessment tools, gather feedback and produce post‑training reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Energy Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in energy efficiency, auditing or sustainability consulting.
• Proven track record as a trainer or capacity‑building expert.
• Hands‑on experience in industrial facilities, preferably oil and gas.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or CMVP are a plus.

Required skills

• Energy auditing and measurement‑verification protocols.
• Energy management systems (EMS) and ISO 50001 standards.
• HVAC, lighting and building systems knowledge.
• Energy simulation tools (e.g., RETScreen, eQUEST).
• Familiarity with green‑building rating systems (LEED, BREEAM, GSAS).
• Renewable energy integration concepts.
