Engineering Director – Aviation Maintenance

About the role

Zenon is seeking an Engineering Director to lead the airworthiness, safety, reliability and regulatory compliance of a client’s fleet of aircraft in the Middle East. The role reports directly to the CEO and is a permanent, onsite position.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the engineering and maintenance strategy, aligning it with corporate objectives.
• Ensure compliance with CAA regulations, manufacturer requirements and industry standards.
• Oversee aircraft maintenance, repairs, modifications, reliability and airworthiness programmes.
• Develop and strengthen the Maintenance Control function and technical teams.
• Manage engineering budgets, contracts and resource allocation.

Required profile

• Eligible to serve as the CAA NPH.
• Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance and engineering, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience managing maintenance and continuing airworthiness programmes.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
