English Teacher – Full‑time, On‑site (Budaiya)

About the role

This is a full‑time, on‑site English Teacher role based in Budaiya. The English Teacher will plan and deliver age‑appropriate English lessons aligned with the British Curriculum, using interactive and engaging methods.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans that meet British Curriculum standards.
• Organise classroom activities that foster active participation.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to learners and families.
• Create a safe, inclusive environment that supports diverse learning styles.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development.
• Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and contribute to extracurricular language activities.

Required profile

• Strong English teaching skills with experience working with young learners.
• Ability to design structured, curriculum‑aligned learning activities.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with students, families, and colleagues.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
• Experience with the British Curriculum or similar international programs is an advantage.
• Capability to manage groups of children positively and respectfully.
• Strong organisational skills, reliability, and willingness to engage in professional development.
