Experienced Associate/Senior – Audit & Assurance Controls (Bahrain)

About the role

Deloitte Bahrain is seeking an Experienced Associate or Senior to join its Audit & Assurance – Controls Assurance practice in Manama. The role involves supporting client engagements, delivering high‑quality audit services, and contributing to the firm’s purpose of making an impact that matters.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in client proposals and oversee day‑to‑day engagement operations.
• Address accounting, reporting and operational issues in collaboration with the audit team.
• Build trust with stakeholders by understanding service level expectations.
• Deliver services that reflect regulatory and risk‑management considerations.
• Adapt template referral instructions and define audit scope and focus areas.
• Liaise with onshore and offshore Centers of Excellence, providing accurate information.
• Track deliverables from component auditors and assess their relevance.
• Link risks, controls, procedures and findings across the audit file in a timely manner.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and ensure their contribution to overall audit quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience in audit or assurance engagements, preferably at associate or senior level.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret regulations and risk factors.
• Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder and team interaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively with onshore and offshore teams.
