Fashion Sales Associate / Fashion Stylist

About the role

A stylish, customer-focused and sales-driven Fashion Sales Associate / Fashion Stylist is sought to provide exceptional customer service and personalised fashion recommendations. The role covers helping customers choose outfits, promoting the latest collections and achieving sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers with professional, personalised fashion styling advice.
• Recommend clothing, footwear and accessories based on customer preferences, body type, lifestyle and occasion.
• Explain collections, materials, designs, sizes and current trends.
• Achieve individual and store sales targets through upselling and cross-selling.
• Maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Help with product selection, fitting, sizing and outfit coordination.
• Keep displays, visual merchandising and store presentation attractive.
• Monitor inventory, replenish merchandise and help with stock management.
• Handle enquiries, feedback, exchanges and complaints professionally.
• Support promotional campaigns, seasonal collections, product launches and in-store events.
• Maintain accurate sales records and process transactions using POS systems.
• Stay up to date on fashion trends, market developments and competitor activity.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, Marketing or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in fashion retail, sales, personal styling or customer service.
• Experience with premium fashion brands, designer labels or luxury retail is an advantage.
• Strong passion for fashion, styling and current trends; well-groomed and presentable.
• Ability to work flexible retail schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

• Good knowledge of fabrics, garment fitting, fashion collections and styling techniques.
• Sales, communication, presentation and customer relationship management skills.
• Understanding of visual merchandising and retail operations.
