Finance Manager – IFRS & SAP B1 Expertise

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead finance operations across reporting, cost control, inventory and production accounting, receivables, treasury and cash flow management. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the role ensures robust financial controls and supports senior management with insightful analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Direct month‑end and year‑end close processes and produce management reports and Board packs.
• Develop financial dashboards, variance analysis and oversee external audit coordination.
• Strengthen internal controls, drive process improvements and automate workflows in SAP B1.
• Manage inventory accounting, production costing (raw materials, WIP, finished goods) and monitor stock levels.
• Lead receivables strategy, set credit limits and supervise collection performance.
• Oversee bank facilities, cash positioning, cash‑flow forecasting and covenant compliance.
• Maintain general ledger integrity, fixed‑asset register, lease accounting (IFRS 16) and cost allocation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional certification (CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA or CIMA) required.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant finance experience.
• Experience in construction, engineering or production sectors within Bahrain or GCC preferred.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS, internal controls design, inventory valuation and production cost accounting.
