Graduate Mechanical Engineer – Bahrain (Bahraini National)

About the role

AECOM is seeking a recent Bahraini graduate in Mechanical Engineering to join its ADVANCE graduate program. Over a 24‑month period you will rotate through engineering tasks, develop core design competencies and support project delivery under experienced supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in engineering design activities, producing calculations, sketches, schematic and final working drawings.
• Collect and analyse project data under guidance.
• Utilise engineering software tools to solve basic design problems.
• Support project work within agreed budgets and schedules.
• Develop analytical and design skills through hands‑on tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Bahraini national.
• Graduated within the last 24 months (or no earlier than September 2024).
• Minimum GPA of 3.2.
• If holding a Master’s, it must have started within 12 months of the Bachelor’s completion.
• No more than one year of postgraduate work experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with engineering design software (e.g., CAD tools).
