Guest Cleanliness Supervisor

About the role

The Guest Cleanliness Supervisor ensures that guest rooms, public areas and facilities meet Marriott's high quality standards after cleaning. This full‑time position coordinates housekeeping activities, resolves discrepancies, and supports the overall guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool and other facilities after housekeeping cleaning to verify quality standards.
• Run sold‑room reports, verify room status, identify discrepancies and prioritize cleaning tasks.
• Update room status for departing guests and communicate changes to the next shift.
• Act as liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and Laundry to coordinate efforts.
• Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms in collaboration with the Front Desk.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling and motivating staff.
• Follow all company, safety and security policies; report maintenance problems, hazards or injuries.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related housekeeping experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to lift, carry and move objects up to 55 lb unaided and heavier with assistance.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, kneel and perform repetitive motions throughout a shift.
