Head Chef – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Head Chef will lead the culinary team at Al Manzil Hotel in Manama, delivering high‑quality dishes for the hotel’s on‑site restaurant and guest services. This full‑time, on‑site position requires a creative leader who can maintain the standards of a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and update menus that reflect modern cooking techniques and guest preferences.
• Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistent food preparation and presentation.
• Train, mentor and schedule kitchen staff to maintain a collaborative work environment.
• Manage inventory, control food costs and oversee purchasing to optimise profitability.
• Implement and monitor food safety and kitchen health regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in menu development and culinary innovation, preferably in luxury or high‑end hotels.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and inventory control practices.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Relevant culinary arts certification or equivalent professional qualification.
