About the role

The Head of IT Application Support will lead the stability, availability and resilience of the bank's application and digital service landscape across the Group. Reporting to the Group CIO, the role oversees both Run‑the‑Bank (RTB) and Change‑the‑Bank (CTB) operating models, ensuring secure, compliant and cost‑effective delivery in a hybrid‑cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and evolve the Application Support strategy aligned with business objectives and the Group technology roadmap, especially for Temenos and its ecosystem.
  • Establish and enforce governance for RTB and CTB, coordinating internal teams, vendors and managed‑service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, risk and internal control requirements and provide senior‑level assurance for audits.
  • Lead application lifecycle and obsolescence management, driving timely decommission, migration or consolidation.
  • Champion AI‑enabled capabilities within application support and measure operational benefits.
  • Contribute to Group technology strategy, governance, risk management and architectural discipline.

Required profile

  • Senior leader with extensive experience in banking application support and digital services.
  • Proven track record in managing complex, multi‑vendor environments and hybrid‑cloud deployments.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and risk frameworks in the financial sector.
  • Ability to shape strategy, drive governance and influence senior stakeholders.

  • Payments, digital channels, treasury & markets, CRM, trade finance, AML/KYC, sanctions and regulatory reporting systems
  • Data platforms and enterprise integration tools
  • Hybrid‑cloud environments (on‑premise, private cloud, public cloud)
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration for support processes
  • ITIL‑aligned service management
  • Vendor and managed‑service provider management
