Heavy Driver – Airfreight Operations

About the role

Wilhelmsen is looking for a reliable Heavy Driver to support air‑freight operations in Bahrain. You will work closely with the air export and clearance team to ensure timely and safe delivery of aircraft parts, ship spares and other cargo to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide backup and support to the air export and clearance team.
• Arrange delivery of aircraft, ship spares and other cargo according to customer requirements.
• Collect cargo delivery notes with date, time, consignee name and signature, and hand them over to clearing agents daily.
• Collect payments upon cargo delivery as instructed.
• Inspect cargo before delivery and report any damages or discrepancies to the export cargo manager.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduate.
• Holder of Light Vehicle, Heavy Vehicle and Forklift licences.
• 3‑5 years of driving experience, preferably with shipments at Bahrain Airport Services.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; Arabic language is a plus.
• Customer‑service attitude and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
