Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Housekeeping Attendant to join our hotel team. The successful candidate will focus on delivering extraordinary customer service and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Receive work assignments, keys and supplies from the supervisor and accurately sign the key log book.
• Clean guest rooms and bathrooms, including making beds, washing sinks, bathtubs, toilets, tiles, mirrors, floors, and polishing brass and metal fixtures.
• Vacuum carpets and upholstered furniture, dust and wipe furniture, empty ashtrays and wastebaskets, and spot‑clean carpets as needed.
• Replenish bathroom and room supplies and arrange guest toiletries neatly on the vanity.
• Maintain clear fire exits and stairways, and keep corridors, service pantries and service areas tidy.
• Pick up room‑service trays and trolleys from guest rooms and corridors.
• Report any maintenance issues immediately and inform valet service for laundry, dry‑cleaning or pressing requests.

Required profile

• Vocational training in hotel housekeeping or a related field.
• Good command of English is an advantage.
• Friendly, caring and dedicated with strong cross‑cultural sensitivity.
• Willingness to put in extra effort and time when required.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
