IFE Licensed Technician

About the role

We are looking for an IFE Licensed Technician to support commercial airline operations in Bahrain. The role is a 6‑month fixed‑term contract with the possibility of extension, working on line maintenance of aircraft equipped with In‑Flight Entertainment (IFE) and Connectivity (IFEC) systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform line maintenance on commercial aircraft IFE/IFEC systems following approved procedures.
• Inspect, certify, and record maintenance tasks within the scope of your aircraft maintenance license.
• Troubleshoot and rectify faults in IFE displays, seat electronic boxes, servers, routers, modems and other cabin entertainment equipment.
• Remove and install Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) and conduct wiring inspections and continuity checks.
• Execute functional tests and verify system operation after repairs or component replacement.
• Load software, media content and system updates onto onboard IFE systems and pre‑load LRUs using bench loading equipment.
• Prepare daily maintenance reports using the maintenance management system and liaise with airline representatives and engineering teams.
• Support additional maintenance activities in Bahrain or internationally as required.

Required profile

• Valid Aircraft Maintenance License issued by Bahrain CAA or ICAO‑recognised equivalent (B2 preferred, B1 acceptable).
• Experience in aircraft line maintenance with good knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.
• Familiarity with IFE/IFEC systems and ability to interpret maintenance manuals.
• Willingness to travel for assignments outside Bahrain.
