Information Technology Intern

About the role

Cork Information Technology W.L.L. is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Information Technology Intern in the Northern Governorate, Bahrain. The role is ideal for a student or recent graduate with a basic software development background who wants hands‑on experience in IT support and application development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide everyday IT support to staff and resolve technical issues.
• Assist in setting up software, development tools, and environments.
• Test website and mobile application features and document any defects.
• Support simple code fixes, scripting tasks, and small development assignments under guidance.
• Maintain clear documentation of issues and solutions.

Required profile

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Basic programming knowledge in JavaScript, Python or C#.
• Fundamental understanding of how websites or software applications work.
• Willingness to troubleshoot, follow instructions and learn from feedback.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• No prior professional experience required; coursework or personal projects are sufficient.
• Familiarity with Git or GitHub is a plus.
