Internal Audit Manager

About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical Internal Audit Manager to lead the internal audit function across our holding company and its subsidiaries in Bahrain. Based in Manama, this full‑time, on‑site position will design and execute audit plans, evaluate controls, and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive audit plans for the holding company and its subsidiaries.
• Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, risk‑management frameworks, and corporate governance processes.
• Verify compliance with Bahrain’s MOIC regulations, Sijilat requirements, and Central Bank of Bahrain guidelines.
• Identify operational improvement opportunities and provide actionable recommendations to senior management and the Audit Committee.
• Collaborate with subsidiary heads and present audit findings to board members and high‑level stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional certification (CIA, CPA, ACCA or CMA) is mandatory.
• 7–10 years of internal audit experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably within a diversified holding company or a Big 4 firm.
• Strong knowledge of Bahrain’s corporate ecosystem, MOIC regulations, Sijilat processes, Bahrain Labour Law and local governance codes.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic.
