Inventory Accountant

About the role

The Inventory Accountant ensures the accuracy and integrity of inventory records, supporting financial reporting and operational efficiency. This detail‑oriented professional will manage inventory data, reconcile discrepancies and work closely with warehouse and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and regularly reconcile inventory and stock records.
• Track inventory movements, valuation and product costing.
• Prepare inventory reports, stock analyses and financial summaries.
• Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Identify and resolve stock discrepancies and support corrective actions.
• Assist with monthly and year‑end closing processes and audit preparation.
• Maintain comprehensive inventory documentation and accounting records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Proven experience in inventory or stock accounting.
• Strong analytical abilities and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
