In‑Villa Dining Waiter – Luxury Resort

About the role

As an In‑Villa Dining Waiter at Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain you will deliver personalised food and beverage service directly to guests’ private villas, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience in a luxury setting.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, garnishes and preparation methods to advise guests and answer queries.
• Greet guests warmly, set up, present and serve meals according to departmental standards, maintaining proper table settings, presentation and portion control.
• Promote additional F&B services, identify upselling opportunities and respond promptly to guest enquiries and requests.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and organisation of trolleys, workstations, equipment and storage areas, adhering to HACCP and food‑safety standards.
• Collect and break down used dishes, trays and trolleys discreetly after each service.
• Report guest feedback, complaints and irregularities to management and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
• Support other F&B outlets during busy periods, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
• Safely operate and drive a buggy to deliver and collect in‑villa dining orders across the property, complying with safety and traffic regulations.
• Take responsibility for Destination Dining setups, including outdoor or special location arrangements, creating “WOW” experiences through personalised touches.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years experience as an In‑Room Dining Waiter or F&B Server in a 5‑star luxury hotel or resort.
• Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to lift trays/trolleys and work outdoors in heat.
• Strong knowledge of menu ingredients, wine pairing and upselling techniques.
