Junior Business Development Engineer

About the role

Join Mondelēz International as a Junior Business Development Engineer and help drive production volume, quality, and safety while supporting new product development and sourcing initiatives across our manufacturing sites.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end execution of new product developments (NPD) and sourcing projects, translating regional strategy into site roadmaps.
• Own Innovation & Initiative Management governance for plant projects and represent manufacturing in cross‑regional forums.
• Conduct cost‑optimization workshops, internal billing rate analysis, and financial simulations to deliver savings aligned with annual contracts.
• Evaluate and upgrade plant capacities, lead debottlenecking, line extensions, and implement lean manufacturing and IL6S loss‑elimination principles.
• Ensure compliance with World Class Manufacturing standards and maintain a strong safety culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or operations management.
• Experience with NPD and innovation‑management processes.
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking and hands‑on execution capability.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional and cross‑regional teams.
• Excellent stakeholder influence, communication and change‑management skills.
