Laundry Attendant

About the role

Join the luxury hospitality team at Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain as a Laundry Attendant. You will ensure that all hotel linens, uniforms, and guest laundry are cared for to the highest standards, supporting an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, pressing machines, and ironing equipment.
• Clean, press, and present hotel linens, staff uniforms, and guest laundry with meticulous attention to detail.
• Handle guest laundry requests promptly, ensuring timely delivery.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, press, and organize laundry items following proper fabric‑care procedures.
• Inspect items for damage, stains, or wear and report any issues to supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, storage rooms, and equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies, chemicals, linens, and uniforms, reporting shortages as needed.
• Adhere to hygiene, sanitation, and health‑and‑safety standards while handling chemicals and equipment.
• Coordinate closely with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure seamless service.
