Logistics Manager

About the role

The Logistics Manager will oversee the end‑to‑end flow of finished goods, from storage to distribution, ensuring seamless coordination between packing, transportation, and customer service teams. This senior position requires strategic planning and hands‑on leadership to maintain efficiency and meet cost targets.

Key responsibilities

• Strategically plan and manage the logistics department, including packing, storage, transportation, and customer service.
• Direct and optimise inbound and outbound shipments while monitoring for disruptions.
• Supervise, coach, and monitor daily performance of the logistics workforce.
• Resolve transportation and import/export logistics issues and complaints.
• Analyse weekly finished‑goods levels and warehouse arrangement for peak efficiency.
• Review storage arrangements for sensitive materials and ensure proper cataloguing.
• Maintain relationships with freight forwarders, clearing agents, project managers, and customs.
• Develop and enforce a documented sign‑off process for goods entering and leaving the warehouse.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports and a 15‑day look‑ahead action plan.
• Monitor freight costs, negotiate with providers, and ensure value for money.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and ISO standards.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of logistics experience, preferably in interior fit‑out contracting.
• Proven track record as a Logistics Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain.
• Experience negotiating freight contracts for imports and exports.
