About the role
The Loss Prevention Officer patrols the property, assists guests with access, and monitors security systems to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff at the Marriott Executive Apartments in Manama.
Key responsibilities
- Patrol all areas, lock entrances when required, and conduct daily hazard inspections.
- Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and fire‑life safety systems.
- Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate with EMS.
- Defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons, and report incidents.
- Complete incident reports, shift summaries, and maintain confidentiality of all security documentation.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No prior related work experience required.
- Ability to stand, walk, or run for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unaided.
- Willingness to work full‑time on‑site in Manama.
Required skills
- Operating and monitoring Closed‑Circuit Television (CCTV) systems.
- Using perimeter alarm and duress alarm equipment.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification.
- Incident reporting and evidence‑gathering techniques.
