Master Diagnostic Technician

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Master Diagnostic Technician to join our workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing vehicle faults, ensuring high‑quality repairs, and supporting continuous improvement of our service processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all assigned diagnostic and repair work quickly, economically and to company and manufacturer standards.
• Advise the workshop team leader on additional work required and obtain authorization for fault rectification.
• Supervise and assist in training apprentices when requested by senior technicians or service executives.
• Maintain competence through on‑site training, supplier courses, manufacturer updates and technical bulletins.
• Communicate vehicle problems to customers and ensure professional, quality service interactions.
• Keep equipment, protective clothing and work areas clean, tidy and safe.
• Support management in introducing new work methods to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of progressive experience in vehicle diagnostics and repair.
• Diploma or relevant vocational certification/degree in automotive technology or a related field.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities with effective task prioritisation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑team collaboration.
• Proven problem‑solving capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in relevant industry software and tools.
