About the role
Sofomation is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support short‑term QA/QC activities for a leading testing, inspection and certification company in Bahrain. The role focuses on gas turbine overhaul projects, requiring hands‑on expertise with Siemens V94.2 or comparable units. The engineer will ensure compliance with OEM overhaul procedures, quality documentation and inspection requirements while working on‑site in Manama. This is a full‑time permanent position.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Proven gas turbine overhaul experience on Siemens V94.2 or similar units.
- Familiarity with OEM overhaul procedures.
- Knowledge of quality documentation and inspection requirements.
- Current residence in Bahrain preferred.
- Freelancers are welcome.
