Master Diagnostic Technician

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned and detail‑oriented Master Diagnostic Technician with 5‑7 years of experience to join our team. The role focuses on driving operational efficiency, managing key projects and ensuring seamless execution of daily responsibilities within our workshop.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all assigned work quickly, economically and to company and manufacturer standards.
• Advise the workshop team leader on additional work required on vehicles and seek assistance for fault rectification.
• Supervise and assist in training apprentices when requested by senior technicians or service executives.
• Maintain competence through on‑site training, supplier courses and reading technical bulletins.
• Discuss vehicle problems with customers and ensure professional, high‑quality service.
• Keep equipment, protective clothing and work areas clean, tidy and safe.
• Assist management in introducing new work methods to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of progressive experience in a similar automotive diagnostic role.
• Diploma or relevant vocational certification/degree in a related field.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven problem‑solving capabilities and attention to detail.
