Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will lead the operation and upkeep of mechanical systems, focusing on HVAC and chilled‑water plants. You will ensure reliable service delivery, compliance with SLAs, and high customer satisfaction while supporting ENOVA’s business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance of HVAC equipment such as chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, ductwork and valves.
• Troubleshoot and resolve faults in cooling, airflow and control systems.
• Plan, execute and monitor preventive‑maintenance (PPM) programmes for all mechanical assets.
• Optimize HVAC performance for energy efficiency and operational reliability.
• Review HVAC drawings, schematics and technical specifications; prepare BOQs, method statements and technical submittals.
• Evaluate vendor quotations and support mechanical scope reviews.
• Assign tasks, coordinate workforce scheduling and lead toolbox talks for the HVAC team.
• Conduct quality checks, site visits and ensure interdisciplinary coordination.
• Maintain CMMS/CAFM records, validate service reports and update maintenance logs.
• Lead reliability initiatives, including root‑cause analysis and predictive maintenance planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance of HVAC and chilled‑water systems.
• Ability to supervise technicians, assign work and provide on‑the‑job training.
• Strong knowledge of preventive‑maintenance strategies and reliability engineering.
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent documentation skills and attention to safety, quality and environmental standards.
