MES Developer

About the role

Yokogawa is seeking an experienced MES Developer to design, implement, and support Manufacturing Execution System solutions for its Oil & Gas and petrochemical customers. The role involves translating client requirements into robust technical architectures and delivering end‑to‑end MES applications in a high‑growth environment.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse user requirements, perform gap analysis and define functional specifications.
• Design MES solution architectures and produce detailed design documents.
• Estimate technical effort and manage deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional project teams and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Provide technical guidance, report progress, and manage scope, schedule and issue adjustments.
• Support existing customers with problem resolution and identify future opportunities.
• Continuously update technical knowledge and stay current with industry best practices.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player.
• Basic understanding of the Oil & Gas domain is a plus.
• Ability to conduct software analysis, design and architectural work.
