Metal Supervisor – Sheet Metal Fabrication Lead

About the role

The company is a leading interior fit‑out contractor in Bahrain seeking a Metal Supervisor to lead its sheet‑metal fabrication workshop. You will be responsible for overseeing all metal work, ensuring quality, safety and timely delivery of interior metal components.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily factory operations including fabrication, welding and machine activities.
• Interpret and verify blueprints and fabrication drawings for production.
• Plan, monitor and adjust production schedules to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Lead a team of up to 100 fabricators, welders and machine operators.
• Provide training and guidance to new staff on processes and standards.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and quality‑control procedures.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to sheet‑metal machinery and processes.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in sheet‑metal fabrication and interior metal works.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication Technology or a related field.
• Strong ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints.
• Hands‑on experience with cutting line drawings and sheet‑metal machinery (laser cutting, bending, welding, machining, powder coating).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel and production management systems.
• Experience training fabricators and welders and coordinating with stakeholders.
