Middleware Developer – Remote

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Middleware Integration Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade middleware solutions for a leading Islamic bank in Bahrain. The role is fully remote and focuses on connecting core banking systems with digital channels and external APIs using IBM Integration technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain middleware solutions using IBM Integration Bus / App Connect Enterprise.
• Integrate core banking platforms with digital channels, external APIs, and microservices.
• Build, secure, and manage RESTful APIs and IBM API Connect solutions.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of all middleware components.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimise middleware operations.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments using DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions.
• Document technical designs, integration flows, and support procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 7–10 years of hands‑on experience in middleware development.
• Strong background in the banking or financial services domain (preferred).
