Operations Analyst

About the role

The Operations Analyst will support SEA 21’s technical functional task area by providing data‑driven analysis for hull, mechanical, electrical, combat systems, aviation, cyber and information systems programs. The role is based in Manama, Bahrain and works on‑site with program offices and waterfront teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, manipulate and process large data sets using statistical software.
• Identify business problems or program objectives that can be addressed through data analysis.
• Deliver oral presentations and written reports of mathematical modeling and data analysis results.
• Design surveys, opinion polls or other data‑collection tools.
• Create graphs, charts and visualizations to convey analysis outcomes.
• Write functions and customize applications to conduct analyses.
• Recommend data‑driven solutions for budget, resource and policy decisions.
• Interpret test information to resolve design‑related problems and equipment malfunctions.
• Oversee installation or operation of equipment and report on performance.
• Research equipment needs, source competitive pricing and assess operational costs.
• Review electrical engineering plans for compliance with specifications and codes.
• Educate equipment operators on proper use and estimate cost, material and resource requirements for projects.
