Multitask Technician - HVAC, Refrigeration and Electrical Maintenance

About the role

Sheraton is hiring a full-time Multitask Technician in Manama, Bahrain, within its Engineering & Facilities category. The role covers inspection, repair and maintenance of HVAC, air quality control and refrigeration equipment, as well as electrical and plumbing work and pool and spa maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, repair and maintain HVAC, air quality control and refrigeration equipment, and maintain and inspect the mechanical plant daily.
• Monitor and control property temperature, and monitor and analyse energy and utilities usage.
• Calibrate controls, gauges, meters and other equipment.
• Assemble, install, test, repair and maintain electrical systems or electronic wiring, and assemble, install and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings and valves.
• Perform routine pool and spa maintenance.
• Follow company and safety and security policies, report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents or injuries, and complete safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and treat guests and colleagues professionally.
• Identify and recommend improvements to efficiency, productivity, quality, safety and cost savings.

Required profile

• EPA Universal Certification.
• Driver's license.
• HVAC certification.
• Preferred: technical, trade or vocational school degree and at least 3 years of related work experience; no supervisory experience required.

Physical requirements

• Reach overhead and below the knees, move in confined or elevated spaces and on sloping, uneven or slippery surfaces.
• Lift and move objects up to 100 pounds with assistance, and up to 50 pounds alone.
