New Product Development Coordinator

About the role

Amalfi Foods is seeking a New Product Development Coordinator to lead the end‑to‑end creation of innovative baked goods and confectionery. Based in Manama, this full‑time, on‑site position will work closely with cross‑functional teams to translate market insights into successful product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the complete product development lifecycle from concept to market launch.
• Conduct market research and analyse trends to inform product strategy.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, sales and marketing to ensure specifications, timelines and quality standards are met.
• Maintain project schedules, budgets and documentation, reporting progress to senior management.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation across the product portfolio.

Required profile

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to engage internal teams and external partners.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving skills to interpret market data.
• Proven project‑management experience, capable of handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Background in product development, preferably within food manufacturing or FMCG.
• Understanding of sales processes to align product launches with market demand.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality throughout the product lifecycle.
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
• Prior experience in a product development or project‑management role is a strong asset.
