Occupational Therapist

About the role

Amana Healthcare, the first facility of its network in Bahrain, is launching a world‑class hospital in Al Jasra that delivers long‑term care and post‑acute rehabilitation. We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team and help patients regain independence and quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, cognitive, psychological and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve activities of daily living, work skills and community participation.
• Provide therapeutic interventions, monitor progress and modify plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educate patients, families and caregivers, and train on assistive devices and environmental modifications.
• Support discharge planning, community reintegration and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
• Valid NHRA license or eligibility to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Bahrain.
• Minimum 6–8 years of clinical experience, preferably in neurological rehabilitation, geriatrics, complex medical cases or long‑term care.
• Commitment to continuing medical education and professional development.
