OSP/ISP Engineering Support

About the role

Trace Systems is seeking an experienced OSP/ISP Engineering Support professional to join its team at the NSA facility in Juffair, Bahrain. You will be responsible for planning, designing, and documenting telecommunications infrastructure projects, ensuring optimal and cost‑effective use of facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update engineering drawings for new, removal, or rearrangement of overhead and underground lines, cables, and conduits.
• Design cable routing, site development, and construction plans for OSP‑ISP projects.
• Produce technical documentation using industry‑standard software.
• Coordinate with field teams to support installation of copper and fiber cabling, cabinets, cable ladders, and rack systems.
• Ensure compliance with security requirements, including maintaining an active US Secret clearance.

Required profile

• Active US Government Secret clearance (interim acceptable) and US citizenship.
• Minimum 7 years of experience installing copper and fiber cabling, fiber optic equipment, patch panels, distribution frames, and lightning protection systems.
• At least 2 years of experience working in a military environment.
• BICSI or equivalent certification.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for mission support.
