Part‑Time Mathematics Lecturer

About the role

The University College of Bahrain is looking for a qualified part‑time Mathematics Lecturer to join its academic team. This position involves delivering high‑quality undergraduate courses in mathematics or statistics and supporting students in a dynamic learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials and assessments for undergraduate mathematics or statistics modules.
• Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students, fostering critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings and academic committees as required.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and contribute to grading and feedback processes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field from an internationally accredited institution.
• Minimum three years of university‑level teaching experience.
• Strong communication abilities in both Arabic and English.
• Professional practice in the field is strongly desired.

Required skills

• Proficiency in delivering mathematical concepts to diverse student groups.
• Ability to develop clear instructional materials and assessments.
