Planner – Project Scheduling for Joinery & Furniture Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a Planner who will develop and maintain project schedules for joinery and furniture manufacturing projects, ensuring that deadlines are met and resources are available. The role works closely with Setting‑Out, Procurement, Production, Logistics and external clients to keep projects on track.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating detailed project timelines, baseline schedules and dashboards for each project.
• Identify critical path activities, dependencies and potential bottlenecks.
• Act as the main liaison between Setting‑Out, Procurement, Production, Logistics and Project Management, facilitating clear communication.
• Support material and resource planning by coordinating with the Material Engineer and Procurement team, tracking orders and escalating delivery issues.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, monitor production status and help resolve coordination problems.
• Contribute to process improvements by providing operational support and suggesting procedural innovations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or Interior Design.
• 3‑5 years of experience in project planning, scheduling or operations within manufacturing or construction/fit‑out environments.
• Proven experience with extensions of time, baseline schedules, earned‑value management and regular reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
