Planner – Project Scheduling for Joinery & Furniture Manufacturing

About the role

The Planner will support the planning and scheduling of joinery and furniture manufacturing projects, ensuring timelines are realistic and deadlines are met. You will work closely with Setting‑Out, Procurement, Production, Logistics and external clients to keep projects on track.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing project timelines and detailed schedules from start to delivery.
• Identify critical‑path activities, dependencies and potential bottlenecks.
• Create baseline schedules, dashboards and tracking reports to monitor progress.
• Act as a liaison between Setting‑Out, Procurement, Production, Logistics, Project Management and external parties.
• Support material and resource management by coordinating with Material Engineer and Procurement.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management review.
• Contribute to process improvements and propose operational innovations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or Interior Design.
• 3‑5 years of experience in project planning, scheduling and operations within manufacturing or construction/fit‑out.
• Experience with extensions of time, baseline schedules, Earned Value Management and regular reporting.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Primavera P6 (or similar advanced scheduling software).
• MS Project.
• Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques.
• Dashboard creation and progress reporting.
• Baseline schedule development.
