Planner – Project Scheduling for Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a Planner who will estimate project timescales, build detailed schedules and ensure that all deadlines are met for joinery and furniture manufacturing projects. The role works closely with Setting‑Out, Manufacturing, Procurement and Logistics to keep projects on track and material supplies sufficient.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing project timelines and detailed schedules from start to delivery.
• Identify critical path activities, dependencies and potential bottlenecks.
• Create baseline schedules, dashboards and tracking reports to monitor progress.
• Act as the main interface between Setting‑Out, Procurement, Production, Logistics, Project Management and external clients.
• Facilitate communication to keep all stakeholders aligned on status, requirements and deadlines.
• Support material and resource management by coordinating with the Material Engineer and Procurement, following up orders and tracking deliveries.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management review.
• Track production progress and coordinate with the production team to resolve issues.
• Contribute to process improvements and propose operational innovations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or Interior Design.
• 3‑5 years of experience in project planning, scheduling and operations within manufacturing or construction/fit‑out.
• Experience with extensions of time, baseline schedules, Earned Value Management and regular reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
