Process Operator – Pre‑Commissioning & Commissioning

About the role

Bilfinger is seeking a Process Operator to lead pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities for oil & gas projects in the Middle East. The role ensures safe, timely execution and supports the delivery of works at Provisional Turn‑Over.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and perform all pre‑commissioning and commissioning tasks.
• Ensure compliance with project safety regulations and maintain an accident‑free environment.
• Support the Construction Engineer by updating schedules and driving completion priorities.
• Attend MEI/PSSR walk‑downs, conduct inspections, and manage punch‑list items.
• Mobilise personnel, equipment and consumables for pre‑commissioning activities.
• Manage commissioning activities and supervise subcontractors.
• Execute work permits and ensure safe execution.
• Liaise with field operations during start‑up and provide on‑site assistance.
• Prepare and review commissioning dossiers and check sheets.

Required profile

• B.Sc. Degree or Diploma in Process Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of experience in oil & gas operations, commissioning and start‑up.
• General knowledge of flow metering, valves, pumps and related equipment.
• Strong communication, teamwork and ability to work under pressure.
