Programme Analyst – UNDP Bahrain

About the role

The Programme Analyst will support UNDP Bahrain’s delivery of its Country Programme Document (2025‑2029), focusing on Economic Prosperity and Environmental Sustainability outcomes. The role provides analytical and coordination support to ensure projects align with national priorities under Bahrain Vision 2030.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct analysis and monitoring of ongoing projects, preparing regular performance reports.
• Support the development of new project concepts and proposals in line with the CPD outcomes.
• Provide policy advisory inputs and technical assistance to government partners.
• Coordinate with internal UNDP units, external stakeholders and UN Volunteers to ensure effective implementation.
• Maintain project documentation and contribute to knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree in economics, environmental studies, public policy or a related field.
• Relevant experience in development programmes, preferably within UN or multilateral settings.
• Understanding of UN development frameworks and national reform agendas.
• Strong analytical, reporting and communication abilities.
