Projects Manager – Fit‑out Construction

About the role

The Projects Manager will lead fast‑track fit‑out projects for retail stores, food & beverage outlets, hotels and commercial offices across the Middle East. Working independently, you will oversee planning, coordination and delivery of multiple projects, ensuring they meet client requirements, quality standards, budget and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Convert tender programmes into detailed construction schedules, defining procurement needs and client meeting calendars.
• Set project objectives, scope, budget, performance targets and allocate internal resources such as QA/QC, Health & Safety and MEP management.
• Select and vet subcontractors, negotiate packages and approve interim payments and final accounts.
• Ensure sufficient labour, equipment and materials to meet timelines and quality expectations.
• Represent the company at site meetings, maintain weekly progress reports and manage health‑and‑safety compliance on all sites.
• Oversee vendor and trade subcontractor performance, handle rectifications on‑time and on‑budget, and compile Operations & Maintenance manuals for hand‑over.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years total experience in fit‑out contracting, with at least 7‑8 years in the Middle East.
• Strong technical, execution and commercial expertise, especially in woodworking, joinery and timber manufacturing practices.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage large‑scale construction projects.
