RCM Facilitator (Relaunched) – Oil & Gas

About the role

An RCM Facilitator is required by the client to be assigned on a contract basis, based in Bahrain. The starting date is ASAP and the duration is 6 months, with possible extension. The role leads reliability-centered maintenance workshops and drives asset reliability improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead RCM workshops that optimize maintenance strategies and improve asset reliability, safety and compliance
• Engage cross-functional teams to identify failure modes, analyze risks and define maintenance strategies
• Facilitate discussions on functional failures, failure modes and effects
• Work with asset managers to build asset hierarchies and criticality assessments
• Integrate RCM methodologies into the asset management framework
• Analyze historical maintenance and operational data to find trends, risks and optimization opportunities
• Train and mentor maintenance teams, engineers and other stakeholders on RCM principles, and develop training materials and workshops
• Ensure maintenance and reliability initiatives meet regulatory requirements and industry standards, and stay up to date on RCM advances and oil and gas practices

Required profile

• 20+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry
• Deep understanding of reliability-centered maintenance, asset management and failure analysis
• Advanced certifications in RCM, reliability engineering or asset management (e.g. CMRP, CRL, ARP) highly preferred
• Strong analytical, facilitation, communication and leadership skills, with strategic thinking and problem-solving

Required skills

• Expertise in RCM, RCA, FMEA and predictive maintenance tools
• Proficiency in CMMS platforms such as SAP PM or Maximo
