Reconciliation Analyst – Fintech

About the role

The Reconciliation Analyst will join Bede, the fintech arm of Zain Bahrain, to ensure the financial and operational integrity of all transaction flows across its product portfolio. Working within the Finance team and reporting to the Finance Manager, the analyst will use Tableau dashboards and financial reports to monitor, validate and reconcile end‑to‑end transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and reconcile daily transaction data for micro‑finance, prepaid cards, wallet services and remittances, ensuring accurate posting in the Loan Management System and related platforms.
• Identify discrepancies using Tableau dashboards, investigate root causes independently, and escalate critical issues to management.
• Document end‑to‑end product processes, data flows and financial entry points, keeping documentation up‑to‑date after system changes.
• Collaborate with IT, BI/BA and Revenue Assurance teams to define data extraction requirements and fill data gaps.
• Support the rollout of new products (e.g., insurance, investment) by extending reconciliation coverage and controls.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of financial transaction processing and reconciliation concepts.
• Ability to work autonomously, analyse data critically and communicate findings clearly.
• Experience documenting complex processes and data flows across multiple systems.
• Proactive attitude in identifying and resolving data gaps with cross‑functional teams.
